Pictures taken in Turkey
Just down the cobbled lane from our villa, in a field full of goats lay this idyllic stone cottage. Every morning the local women would arise at the crack of dawn dressed in paisley printed headscarves and long skirts in order to tender to the animals and fields. For me, watching this routine almost felt like taking a step back in time and I was able to admire the simple pace of life here, free from so many of our modern day anguishes.
This skirt was another find in the Zara sale. The pattern and rich colours on it remind me of a hint towards the heritage trend.
