A scene reminiscent of a jungle surrounded our villa in Turkey with plants of every kind (pomegranate and lime trees to name a few) growing in our back garden. Thus I could think of no better place to shoot this African patterned skirt with a tribal theme.
The skirt itself came from River Island about four years ago (who said you couldn't use throw away fashion for more than a season?) I think that the rich colours and sequins and perfect for the warm summer months when if it was up to me, I would live in loose, ethnic clothing until the very last of the sunshine.

i am loving the texture of your sister's hair! and this skirt is so amazing and bold! i didn't notice the sequins until i read your caption. absolutely gorgeous. :) nice backdrop too. it really adds to the "warrior" theme you have going on.

These photos are beautiful. The setting is perfect and I love how the simple blush-colored tank really lets the skirt speak for itself. The third image from the top is wonderful!
