Outfit: Skirt - H &M; Shirt and Scarf - Vintage; Shoes - Topshop
Last week, I visited Oxford University for an open day. I spent it marvelling at the ancient architecture, incredible colleges and quaint town. The studious feel of the place made it the ideal location for a 'preppy' outfit, this time being a vintage scarf, baggy shirt and navy skirt.

I'm always very drawn to silk scarves because i like the bright patterns they tend to have on them, but when it comes to wearing them (as opposed to collecting them) I am clueless. I hope you don't find it odd that I'm saving one of your photos as a reminder of a good way to mix in a scarf without looking too overly fashion blogger-y (if you know what I mean). I like that you kept it simple in the rest of the outfit. And this outfit does have a bit of school girl in it. It seems perfect for visiting schools!
Love your look, great scarf!
