Trench Take Two : Evening

Outfit: Trench Coat - Zara; Lace Skirt- H&M; Bag, heels, vest - Primark; Hairband - Urban Outfitters

After being inspired by the timeless styling of Audrey Hepburn's trench coat in yesterday's post, I decided to follow suit for my evening trench outfit in an attempt to radiate even a sliver of Hepburn's elegance. I donned a beehive hairdo (actually easier to do than I thought it would be) and liquid winged eyeliner, along with a skater shaped lace skirt, black vest and sequined hairband. The colour scheme of black and beige ensures this classic remains the central piece of the outfit.

That trench length really works on you. I decided I just HAD to have a great classic trench and bought one in knee length and now I really want a shorter one that I can make feel more casual.

I am seriously loving that trench! It looks just as great dressed up here as it did in your other post with the bicycle! What a great find..

I like that yours is shorter. It's a bit more updated and flirty than Audrey's while still classically chic!
