Outfit: Blouse - Vintage; Skirt- H&M; Heels, tights, headband, belts - Primark
Another root through my mum's wardrobe at the weekend unearthed this dainty, ivory blouse, a piece which I couldn't wait to experiment with. Whilst I am under strict instructions to never wear it outside the house - let's just say I don't have much luck with white clothing and any kind of dirt - I had fun finding an ideal outfit that I could pair it with.
Due to it's length, I originally wanted to wear it with the belts on top cinching it in at the waist, however there was far too much bunching around the middle; not such a good look. For my second attempt I settled on wearing it as a delicate shirt over the top of the outfit. With fashion I always find that I have to experiment many times to find a combination that actually works together as there is certainly no formula; thus my fashion motto is "if at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again ! "

No mottos, really. But I love that you found something from your mom's closet. It's always so much fun to unearth good pieces. I found two mini cross-body bags (one leather, one croc skin) in my mom's closet!

No mottos, although if I don't know what to wear then I go for black.
I don't think about it I guess, but experimenting is part of fashion if you ask me.
