Their casual elegance and ability to be dressed up or down makes them a perfect item for the transition from summer to autumn. My favourite is the brightly coloured ethnic one featured on natalie off duty's blog (centre).

These maxi skirts are GORGEOUS! I'm very short (five feet) and rarely get to have the maxi experience. Sigh. I would be in seventh heaven if I could find a maxi dress or skirt in my length...cutting them just seems so cruel. Hehe. :P
