Scrapbook: Oxford in a Day

- The Radcliffe Camera - Oxford's most photographed building -

- One of the smaller colleges - St. Edmund's Hall -

- Magdalen college, my personal favourite -

- Christ Church, home to the great hall in Harry Potter -

- The Bodleian Library -

- ...so many bicycles -
Last week I visited Oxford, home to one of England's most well known and prestigious universities. I had a look inside many of the colleges, marvelling at their decor and incredible architecture, some dating back to the 1300s. Being so steeped in history and surrounded by ancient buildings, the place leads you to believe you're taking a step back in time, especially when guards greet you in tail coats and bowler hats.

What a gorgeous place.
Heritage buildings have a charm & character to them.
Alot of the heritage buildings here now have to be torn down post-quake, makes me appreciate these shots even more xo

Wow! What beautiful pictures!! Bodleian Library looks lovely : )

That's so exciting to potentially go to a college with so much history! My school in the US was founded in 1863- not nearly as cool!
