First off, I adore these outfits. Knightley's flirty blue skirt has come straight from Rodarte's S/S '10 catwalk (jealous, much?) and been teamed with this beautiful nude lace blouse making for the ideal outfit for such an occasion. The brown Louboutins pull the look together and only heighten her elegant stature. The Proenza Schouler number Mulligan is working suggests a hint of Grecian goddess - must be something to do with the pleats and colour - yet she looks utterly stylish and glam. Personally I think the duo have marked out the perfect way to carry off a 'ladylike' ensemble.
Round Two: World Premier of 'Never Let Me Go'
Round two was a tad disappointing, if predictable. Whilst Knightley looks stunning, I can't help but think we've seen this all before -the beige Chanel dress, the black, satin heels and the demure pout. However, at least the plainer outfit choice enables her newly bobbed hairdo to stand out and no one can deny that she looks the epitome of 'elegant chic'. Mulligan, on the other hand seems to be dressed for dinner on her summer holidays. The draping, lack of shape and pattern on this Vionnet dress paired with those woven sandals scream beach holiday rather than red carpet premiere. Her only saving grace - those rich rouge lips are divine.
So what do you think readers, do you love or hate the looks and who do you think deserves the fashion crown?

I love howgood friends they are and they're both so stylish. I love Mulligan so much!!
I love all these looks with the exception of Mulligan's shoes on the premiere. They're both stunning& stylish. I also love them as actresses. It's a real pleasure to watch these two.
they are both so gorgeous! I love Carey's yellow dress, its my fave!

I think Carey's geometric dress would have look better if she cut it shorter, maybe knee-length. Nevertheless, they both look stunning! They emulate lady-like minimalism.
Love Keira's outfits!!

I love Carrey Mulligan's choices. Maybe the second dress is a bit too casual but she looks so cute that I'll forgive her. Both ladies deserved being mentioned. They look great.
I can't decide!!
love them all!!
Adore that Grecian dress. I am a lover of, and will always be a lover of goddess dresses.

I love Keira's second dress.
i absolutely love the first set of outfits, the girls look both gorgeous and adorable, a good combo in my book. And i actually like the second set as well, although Mulligans shoes do very little to inspire and she does seem a bit under dressed, especially when standing next to Knightley.
I think both these celebs have great fashion sense, im particulary fond of Keira's though.. both the outfits look gorgeous on her especially the first one, Im looking forward to watching there latest film!

I love Rodarte's first look and Knightley's second look! The other looks are not as inspiring to me, but hey, you always have to take a chance!

They both look utterly brilliant in the first photo. Love Kiera's skirt and Carey's dress is the perfect colour with just the right pleat size!
I will not comment on Carey's choice of outfit #2. Just because I love her regardless
They are SO cute! I had no idea they were such good friends. I think that is adorable. :)
I love all their outfits. Then again, these two beauties could wear trash bags and still look incredibly lovely and chic. Hehe.
I really enjoyed the movie, Never Let Me Go, although it was a bit depressing. :P

Carey is just so darn adorable! I never even realized who she was until I saw An Education. Then I went back and saw Pride & Prejudice and went duh.. I think she wins round 1 and Keira wins round 2.
