The Celebs in Lanvin for H&M

- Elettra Wiedemann and Elisa Sednaoui -

The Bloggers
- Chiara from 'The Blond Salad' in the popular one shoulder cocktail dress -
- Rumi from 'fashion toast' -

Undoubtably there has never been a more successful designer collaboration than that between Lanvin and H&M. Launched in the UK and Europe on Tuesday morning, the range sold out online within minutes and the designer's devotees queued overnight in order to be the first to get their hands on the collection - party gowns, one-shouldered cocktail dresses and playful jewellery.

What has made the range so successful is that so many aspects of Lanvin's signature style; from the cut and fabrics ,to the bags and artwork; runs all the way through it. Just think of his runway shows - frills, tulle and the 1940's femme fatale - these elements have all been channelled in the clothes. The limited stock and the fact that Lanvin refused to compromise on the quality and cut of the collection meant that the pieces were much more investment worthy than previous collaborations.

So tell me dear readers, did any of you manage to get your hands on the pieces? If so I would love to see how you styled them...

I don't really agree with the fact of designers doing things like designing for H&M but well.. I like some of the clothes :)

There wasn't even a billboard for anything to do with Lavin in the H&Ms I've been in the past couple of months. It's disspointing that they only focus on the main stores. What if you live nowhere near Oxford Circus, the Trafford Centre, Glasgow or any other major shopping centre?

:( All the christmas dresses this year are SO dissapointing. I've tried on every half-decent looking one and they all look so cheap, slutty and badly made. They simply don't fit right anywhere!
