Snowy Layers

Outfit: Coat and Snow Boots - vintage; Green Jumper - H&M;
Knitted Headband and Belt -Primark

Being an incredibly clumsy person, the recurrent ice that has lain on the ground for the last few weeks has led me to slip and fall at least six times (four being in Amsterdam). When I went out for a walk on Christmas Day I decided that I needed to wear some shoes that actually provided grip and pulled out these snow boots from the cellar with bottoms that resemble a car tyre. They certainly did the trick and I stayed upright for the entire walk.

Wonderful outfit. I really like it. Perfect for you. I would wear it too. The only thing I would change is adding a scarf. For singers it's very important to keep the vocal chords warm always.

Very good outfit.

You look so cozy! I love the belt, it gives the jacket such a great shape. I really need to stock up on some warmer sweater so I can wear my cute jackets in the winter. Good luck in the Teen Vogue contest!

Oh my! I remember falling over and over skating. I can only imagine how much worse it gets when you fall on snow and then you end up wet and cold! Yet, I still want to play in the snow at some point.
The colors on the last picture are beautiful!

Boy, I wish I'd been as effortlessly stylish as you when I was 18! What a fabulous sense of style (and self) you have.

Beautiful pictures again, sweetie!

I have been a bad blogger commenter lately, so I've only just caught up on your last few posts. I gasped aloud at your Amsterdam pictures - too beautiful! I wish I lived in Europe so all of those gorgeous, historic places were within reach! You are a lucky gal!

Awesome outfit! I love those boots! Better to be safe than stylish in this weather. I braved wearing heels yesterday and it was ridiculous. Soooo icy.

I tagged you in my latest post, btw! Don't feel obligated to do it, but if you do, I'd love to read it! :)
