Inspiration: Colours of Camel

Camel tones have to be one of the most controversial trends of the season. Some love it, others hate it. Perhaps it's the idea of 'neutral' tones that split us: on one hand it implies clothes lacking in personality and beauty - 'nothingness' items, yet these are also timeless pieces, ones that will be brought out season after season. This year, however the colour has risen from the archives and every shade from tobacco to tan has been seen everywhere - from catwalks to blogs, to celebrities. My personal favourite showcaser of the look has to be hanneli mustaparta who has worked her peachy camel jacket in so many ways.

I am considering buying a camel blazer from Zara but I haven't decided whether I will wear it enough to merit the purchase. I mean, I LOVE it on other people but not too sure it works as well in a tropical country. :P
