'Ocean Colour Scene' editorial - Vogue UK March 2011
'It's a wondrous view: big, bold, spicy hues on cottons and silks, simple peasant tops and long, sweeping skirts are a sunny outlook for summer. Photographs by Mario Testino..'
'Maximalism' vs. 'Minimalism' - a clear dichotomy for the forthcoming season. On the one hand, we all want to possess a dose of the refined sophistication seen at the simplistic shows of Chloe and Céline; yet the bold and dynamic approach of clashing prints and screams of colour at Prada and Jill Sander seems, well so much more exciting.
Personally I feel this editorial captures the ultimate essence of the two - loud, vivid hues of pea green and golden ochre combined with simplistic skirt shapes and luminous, natural beauty.
