The Best of New York Fashion Week S/S 2012

Whilst the collections in New York have been varied and diverse, there have been several key trends that have emerged :  big and bold graphic patterns (Proenza Schouler and Diane Von Furstenberg), pastel silk separates (3.1 Philip Lim and Jil Sander), and a whole lot of white (The Row and Jenny Packman).  My favourite show so far has to be Rodarte.  Taking inspiration from Van Gogh's paintings and 'Sleeping Beauty' the duo delivered a collection of fantasy dresses; the cut being just as interesting as the pattern.

What have been your favourite looks or shows so far?

Love the floral prints on Rodarte's collections. It's just lovely.

I couldn't agree more, I'm in LOVE with 3.1 Phillip Lim's pastel everything! The Spring shows have gotten me way too excited, and I'm loving everything I've seen so far! Thanks for sharing! xoxo, Veena <3

My personal favorite was Prabal Gurung and from your picks, I adore Anna Sui. Did you attend this season?
