Preppy Look Three: Sun Streaming through the Tartan

Outfit: Skirt and Blouse
- Primark; Scarf - Cow Vintage; Brogues - Clark's

Modelled by my sister

As one of the derivative 'preppy' patterns, an element of tartan is sure to feature in every studiously styled wardrobe. Being a great lover of this classic look, I own many tartan garments, this skirt (previously featured here) and scarf being two of them. Whilst mixing the two patterns may be considered excessive, personally I reckon that you can never wear too much tartan. When paired with this ruffled blouse and a pair of brogues, this would be the kind of thing I would love to wear to a university function.

LOVE the preppy look, especially here! Nice and soft with that top :) I can't go near those skirts because I wore them for too many years in prep school but this is making me reconsider :)
