Kimono Queen

Outfit: Kimono - Topshop, Vest - Gap, Skirt - H&M, Bag and bangles -India

I have a friend who is somewhat a kimono queen.  They are one of her ultimate staples, she throws them on over skirts, skinny jeans and dresses instantly adding interest and detail to an outfit.  Recently (due to their abundance in the shops) I have come to appreciate their appeal and versatility.  Worn belted, tied at the waist or left loose, they feel effortless to wear and add a certain fluidity to an outfit.  The array of oriental patters is also something I've fallen for.  This pink one, borrowed from my friend ticks all the kimono boxes: being light, a flattering cut and featuring an eyecatching floral pattern makes it a wearable piece for all seasons.
