Such checkered affairs have been popular for quite some time, for both boys and girls. I see so many people pairing them with leggings and denim for that ultimate casual and laidback style -perfect for a day at college. Originally a 'logger' shirt, it was worn by woodcutters in America. It appears that another hardwearing, industrial item of clothing, following on from denim is becoming a staple of our everyday wear.
I decided to pair mine (picked up from a vintage shop 'COW') with ripped denim jeans, biker boots and long grey socks in an attempt at a hardwearing look with a hint of '90s grunge.
